Tuition Deduction:
All tuition is payroll deducted for Emory and CHOA employees. For
monthly employees the rate is averaged (rate x 52 weeks/ 12 months)
over the year to obtain one consistent amount. Biweekly employees
are deducted each pay period. Deductions for CDC employees are
arranged through the Credit Union and require a Credit Union
account.
Subsidy:
Benefits-eligible employees of Emory, Children's Healthcare of
Atlanta, and CDC who qualify for a subsidy by meeting the financial
requirements may apply for a subsidy.
Emory
and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) subsidies are provided to benefits-eligible employees of
Emory and CHOA. Applications for tuition subsidy should be submitted when a space is
available for your child. To apply for a subsidy, please submit to
Cindy Britt or Andrea Jackson the 1040 Form from your previous
year's tax return (not your W2), and a recent pay stub for each
parent.

Update
Good News! Emory and CHOA have revised their subsidy
scale in hopes of providing some relief to families who need tuition
assistance. The subsidy scale is based on total family income. If
you are already receiving a subsidy, your percentage will
automatically be adjusted if the new scale indicates the need to do
so.

Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) employees
who meet the eligibility criteria can apply to receive tuition
