OUR APPROACH:
Cultivating Wonder and Discovery
At The Clifton School, we believe that education is far more than just daycare; it is a collaborative journey where we view the environment as the “third teacher”. Our Constructivist approach recognizes and respects every child as a strong, powerful, and capable researcher, inventor, and explorer. By fostering a culture of wonder, we provide an enriching space where children build knowledge through meaningful relationships and daily experiences.
1
Emergent Curriculum
Instead of following rigid, pre-planned lessons, our teachers utilize an Emergent Curriculum that adapts to the evolving interests, questions, and theories generated by the children themselves

The Environment as the Third Teacher
Every physical element of our school—from light-filled internal "piazzas" to nature-based outdoor playscapes—is intentionally designed to invite exploration, foster collaboration, and inspire new investigations

Documentation of Learning
We value the process of learning as it happens, utilizing photographs and written records to document the evolution of each child’s critical thinking and unique development.
