A Community Built for Wonder
Welcome to The Clairmont Campus, a vibrant learning community located on Emory University’s Clairmont campus, conveniently situated directly across the street from the Clairmont parking deck. Our facility is designed to provide a “home-like environment” that is comfortable, naturally lit, and stimulating for our youngest learners.

An Environment Designed as the “Third Teacher”
At the Clairmont site, every architectural detail is intentionally crafted to invite exploration and foster a sense of openness
- The Piazza Concept: Our classrooms are organized into age-based “villages”—Infant, Toddler I, Toddler II, and Preschool. Each wing opens into a large shared community space called a “piazza,” allowing children of different ages to collaborate on projects and explore together.
- Natural Light & Transparency: Large windows throughout the building flood our interior spaces with light, creating a seamless transparency between the indoor classrooms and the natural world outside.
- Outdoor Exploration: Our playgrounds are custom-designed for specific age groups, featuring hills, sandboxes, green spaces, and tricycle paths. Here, children are encouraged to test their own theories, whether they are hunting for butterflies or building castles in the sand.
Our Programs
We follow a Constructivist-based approach, viewing children as active discoverers who build knowledge through meaningful daily experiences

Infant & Toddler Villages:
Focused on nurturing care and building secure connections
3
Georgia Pre-K
A lottery-funded program for eligible four-year-olds, with optional extended care available
