Can’t find something?

Give Your Child a Strong Start with Georgia’s Pre-K Program at The Clifton School!

Start your child’s educational journey on the right path with Georgia’s Pre-K Program at The Clifton School! This lottery-funded program is thoughtfully designed to prepare Georgia’s four-year-olds for kindergarten through engaging, high-quality learning experiences in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Our free and community-focused Pre-K program provides families with an exceptional opportunity to support their child’s growth—socially, emotionally, and academically. Spaces in the program are limited and allocated through a lottery process. Children not selected in the initial lottery will be placed on a waitlist and considered for enrollment if any selected families decline their spot.

Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to give your child the foundation they need for a bright future!

Who is Eligible?

Children who are four years old on or before September 1 of the current school year and are Georgia residents are eligible to attend Georgia’s Pre-K Program. Participation is voluntary for both families and providers, giving you the flexibility to choose what works best for your child.

For families who need additional care, extended-day services (before and after the 6.5-hour instructional day) are available for a reasonable fee.

How to Enroll Your Child

Initially you only need to submit your application for our lottery drawing for spaces.

Once your child is accepted into our Georgia Pre-K program, we’ll provide you with a checklist of documents required to complete the registration process. While most documents are easy to complete, the following documents will also be needed:

  • Proof of Age and Residency:
    • Proof of age may include a birth certificate, passport, hospital record of live birth, green card, pink card, or Federal I-94 card.
    • Proof of residency may include a lease, utility bill, or a letter from a shelter or employer.
  • Health and Immunization Requirements:
    • Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening Certificate (DHR Form 3300): This must be completed and signed by a private practitioner or local Department of Health representative and submitted within 90 days of program entry.
    • Immunization Certificate (DHR Form 3231): Immunizations must be up-to-date. You can obtain this form from a licensed Georgia physician or health department within 30 days of program entry.
