Nutrition & Dining

Fueling Growing Minds At The Clifton School

We provide breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack each day. Our meals meet USDA Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines and are included in tuition. We focus on balanced, nutritious options with whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, and minimal added sugar. A vegetarian menu is available at no additional cost.

The Educational Experience

1
Family-Style Dining
In our Toddler and Preschool classrooms, children participate in family-style meals — serving themselves, passing dishes, and practicing table manners. This approach supports independence, fine motor development, and social learning.
2
Healthy Choices
We minimize sugar and maximize servings of whole grains, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Tuition covers nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon snacks, with a full vegetarian menu available at no additional cost
3
Infant Care
We respect the individual feeding rhythms of our youngest learners. We provide Enfamil Neuropro formula and Gerber baby foods. However, we fully support breastfeeding mothers and welcome expressed milk for your infant
4
Allergies & Dietary Needs
We strive to maintain a nut-free environment. All outside food must be completely nut-free. Children with allergies or specific dietary needs must submit appropriate medical documentation.
Please refer to the Parent Handbook for detailed nutrition and allergy policies.
