January Vegetarian Menu 2025                                             January Menu 2025                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Our goal is to provide a variety of healthy foods in our breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.  We try to minimize sugar and maximize servings of whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.  Whole (Toddler I’s) or 1% (Toddler II’s and Preschool) cow’s milk or water(once/week) is provided with meals.  Meals for infants consists of formula (Enfamil Neuropro), Gerber baby food, and then strained and/or mashed food prepared by our kitchen staff. Parents may bring a different formula or expressed milk for infants. We welcome and support breastfeeding mothers. Meals are served family-style in the classrooms.  This model helps children learn how to serve themselves and each other, develop fine motor skills, experiment with portions, and make meal-time fun.  When mealtime is over, the children assist in clearing the tables by emptying their dishes and returning them to the tray. Meals are planned on a monthly basis.  We offer a standard menu and a vegetarian menu, both of which are covered by tuition. In an effort to promote healthy eating habits and strong bodies, we will be increasing our offerings of fresh fruits and whole wheat items.
